Getting in the Groove with PureMVC
While many who’ve worked with it can attest, PureMVC is simple and powerful once you ‘get in the groove’ with it. But until that happens, it can be like standing outside the stadium listening to the band you didn’t have tickets for inside warming up the crowd.
This session is about getting in that groove. You’ll learn what the framework is for, how it is used, how all the pieces of it work, how the community has extended it and how to do so yourself.
Audience:
Anyone who’d like to write code that is maintainable and easy to migrate to other platforms. Examples will be given in AS3 for Flex, Flash and AIR, but the concepts, like the framework are portable. So, if you code in any of the languages supported by PureMVC including AS2, AS3, C#, ColdFusion, Java, JavaScript, Objective C, PHP, Python or Ruby, you can benefit from this session.

* A deeper understanding of the long-term vision for the PureMVC framework within the larger software development community.
