Overview

The act of communication is all about telling a story. Whether it’s a verbal story around a camp fire, to curling up with a good book, to watching a movie on the big screen (which is now in your living room or at the theatre), technology continues to evolve the ways in which we engage and communicate across mediums. And here we are in 2012, where humans and smartphones have merged to create a new species with connectivity and super computers almost attached to our bodies. The mobile medium has upended business models and has changed the way we communicate both for storytellers and for brands looking to engage with people. We can feel and see the impact in every industry: retail, medical, entertainment, transportation, finance, and entertainment. In this panel, experts from different industries explain how brands are utilizing technology to engage their customers, tell stories, and expand their markets.
