Television studios are chock-a-block full of professional equipment including a time code generator, intercom system, professional video and audio capture devices, and mixing boards. What if you don’t have all that stuff? We’ll show some work on creating a virtual and multicast enabled studio using a real-time component framework and Flash Media Enterprise Server. The project is a collaboration between Ryerson University in Canada and the Media University (Hochschule der Medien) in Germany.
