Overview

Everybody knows that you have to write Android apps in Java, right? Wrong! This session will cover a variety of technologies that let you build and package Android apps without writing a line of Java code. Technologies covered will include App Inventor, a simple visual building-blocks approach, and focus on well-known other languages, including Python and Perl (plus a cast of other scripting languages mentioned in passing), and of course that old favorite C and its overgrown offspring C++. Code examples of most of these will be shown.
