Getting to the Hotel

Shuttle Service
Please make your shuttle reservation to and from Central Station at the concierge desk. A white Ford Transit for maximum 8 persons, with luggage space for maximum 8 persons.

Please call (+31 20 519 1213) when you know your exact arrival time at the railway station and the hotel will be able to pick you up approximately 5 and 35 minutes after the hour. All upon availability.

From the main hall of the station, walk in the southern direction and follow the signs east exit. Exit the building and walk to the left. Opposite the Starbucks you will find the shuttle which is a white Ford Transit and has Mövenpick signs on the front and sides.

Please note: Due to construction work on the north side of the Central Station, the hotel shuttle will not run after 7.30 pm. On Fridays and Saturdays until 9.00 pm.

Car
Take exit S114 from the Eastern Highway (Ringweg) A10. At the end of the Piet Hein tunnel, turn right towards Central Station. Follow the signs P-Piet Hein / City Centre.

The Piet Hein parking garage offers electric car drivers the possibility to recharge their car through the charge points available.

Car park
There is a large secured car park underneath the hotel. The car park is operated by local authorities and is charged EUR 4,29 per hour (prices may vary). Hotel guests will receive a 15% discount. The discount only applies when the parking ticket has been scanned and paid at the reception of the hotel. It is also possible to park your car at the P+R Zeeburg parking at the other side of the Piet Hein tunnel.

When staying at the hotel for more than 5 hours, it is also possible to use the Oosterdok parking. This garage is located at 10-minute walking distance and the price for 5 – 24 hours is EUR 10.

Tram
A tramstop is located in front of the hotel. Take tram 26 (direction IJburg) from Central Station and get off at the first stop, named “Muziekgebouw/Bimhuis”.

Bike
Follow the Ruyterkade in Eastern direction from Central Station and park your bike in the free bike parking underneath the hotel.

From P+R Zeeburg, follow the Zuiderzeeweg and turn right on the Zeeburgerdijk. Turn right on Th. K. van Lohuizenlaan and turn left on the Zeeburgerpad. Turn right on the Panamalaan and keep following this road onto the Piet Heinkade.

Directions from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol

Public Transport: Direct train to Central Station (approximately 20 minutes), 25-30 minutes by taxi.

Taxi Electric: these taxis are driving 100% electric and their cars are equipped with free WiFi access and a tablet pc. All electric cars will apply by-the-meter tariffs with a cap on the Schiphol rides (max. EUR 45.50 per ride). Pick-up at the Schiphol Meeting Point is possible as well. You can make a direct reservation for an electric taxi. Non-electric taxis will charge other rates and do not need a reservation in advance.

By car: take the A4 highway towards Amsterdam. Take the A10 Eastern Highway (Ringweg) and take the exit S114. For further directions, please see above.
