This workshop runs from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is broken into four sections:

1) The Joy of Prompting with Midjourney

12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., with Jamie Kaiser, Senior Creative Technologist at ONEMETHOD

With a gentle touch and a palette rich in imagination, Jamie will guide you through the art of sculpting words into prompts, each one a brushstroke that brings to life the vivid scenes within our minds. Join Jamie in this exploration, where he teaches you the basics of prompting for image generation in the generative AI called Midjourney.

Prerequisites for our journey: Please bring a laptop, a Discord account (Midjourney license not required but recommended.

2) Unleashing AI’s Potential: Mastering The “Seven Habits For Highly Successful Prompting”

This session is designed for all creative professionals, knowledge workers, and anyone who writes, from emails to RFPs, and marketing material to grant proposals. The aim is to demystify AI, especially for those who might find it intimidating or confusing, or who are yet to be convinced of its potential. 3) The Current State Of AI Video

3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with Adam Pickard, Creative Director,

The pace of AI innovation is fast and relentless, and AI video is one of the latest and most rapidly evolving. In this presentation, let’s explore the recent history of AI video and develop skills to distinguish between hype and actual advancement. Learn about how it’s possible to control outputs with various models and software. And of course, this is a great opportunity to examine the advantages and disadvantages of AI video, where it might be going, and what to watch for.

4) AI Art Battle

4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. with Jeff Rae, Executive Design Director, ONEMETHOD

Since competition is the fuel that ignites innovation, let’s put all that info to use and have some fun. Attendees compete using themes in 5 minute rounds. Game on!
