Still not convinced that Flex is a viable development framework for building robust, high performance device applications, while Adobe's Greg Wilson has compiled an extensive post that both squashes numerous myths and misconceptions while showing off some of what Flex can do when unleash it on the current crop of mobile devices.
The biggest surprise to developers (including myself) is the performance of Flex apps on iOS devices.
