FITC is a proud supporter of women in technology and are excited to announce our first FITC Women's Make and Mix! Ladies are invited to join us for an afternoon of lightning talks, networking, and making – that's right, we're getting hands-on with some MaKey MaKey kits.
Join us for an afternoon of inspiration and learning at Mozilla Toronto where you will gather with like-minded women ready to explore making and expand their skills. You'll hear short talks from women in the space, and afterwards will form small groups to hack on some hardware. Mentors will be on hand to guide you if needed, but the focus will be on you exploring what you can create.
No experience is necessary, just a desire to make and meet other women in the space. This event is free for women who have purchased a ticket to FITC Toronto and $10 for those not attending the conference.
It is recommended that you bring a laptop and your mobile device.
