Aren’t we living in interesting times? It seems like every week another piece of once futuristic technology
becomes reality: hoverboards, driverless cars and selfiesticks! Many tasks that only humans could do are already handled by machines. Good for you that you are a creative, since they will never be able to replace you with a bot. Or will they? Mario has been experimenting in the field, what he calls “augmented creativity”, trying to teach computers to generate interesting art or surprising ideas autonomously. In this talk, he’ll demonstrate some of these experiments and will look into the current state of A.I. and deep learning. He’ll show you how the rapid
developments in these fields might leap into a domain that so far has been an exclusively human one: creativity.
