Todd Chandler is a filmmaker and a musician. His work has been featured at Rooftop Films, The Hammer Museum, Mass MoCA, Museum of the Moving Image, 01SJ Biennial, and The San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art. In 2006 he helped create the Miss Rockaway Armada, a collective art project that built and navigated junk rafts down the Mississippi River. During a subsequent raft project on the Hudson River he directed his first feature film Flood Tide using the rafts and their journey as a centrepiece. He collaborated with Jeff Stark to create Empire Drive-In. He and Stark also worked together in Chernobyl on Let Them Believe, a partly fictionalized film documenting a project by artists Ryan C. Doyle and Eva and Franco Mattes. The film is presented as a multiplatform installation in Sheffield, UK and Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2011.
