Rosy is a startup enthusiast with a distinctive legal background. She transitioned into the world of technology and innovation after practicing criminal law exclusively for 5 years. Last year she was in Vancouver for 3 months volunteering with several social enterprises and startups. Thereafter, she moved to San Francisco where she spent 5 months interning at Kiva. She spent the bulk of her time in Silicon Valley where she helped numerous startups and participated in various tech events.
Rosy brings a unique perspective to her clients. As an entrepreneur involved in her own startup, she knows all of the struggles a startup experiences. She recently also established The Lean Lawyer, a law practice dedicated to providing all types of affordable legal services for startups and small businesses, including commercial and criminal defence litigation. Rosy is an advisor with Ryerson’s Digital Media Zone (“DMZ”) and Fashion Zone, as well. She is dedicated to helping startups get off the ground and pursue their vision.
