Magued Hanna is a UX and product design leader with over 20 years of strategic management and hands-on experience. He specializes in creating insight-driven, intuitive digital experiences that engage, convert, and retain diverse audiences, driving organizational growth.
With a proven track record of scaling and nurturing world-class design teams, Magued fosters cross-functional collaboration, innovation, and a culture of excellence. He has led the development and evolution of multiple enterprise-wide design systems and played a pivotal role in the success of the XE Currency App, which boasts over 80 million installs.
As a UX/UI design instructor at the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies, Magued is passionate about universal design principles, user research methodologies, and shaping the next generation of industry professionals.
Magued also serves as a Director on the RGD Board, where he vice-chairs the Diversity & Inclusion Committee. In this role, he curates and hosts webinars on accessibility and UX, mentors emerging designers, and conducts portfolio reviews and Certification evaluations.
