Laura Bunce is a Toronto-based UX strategist who leads digital design and service design teams across the telecom, education, and non-profit sectors. With her unique blend of design-thinking expertise, technical engineering background, and high-energy facilitation skills, Laura can transform a room of disconnected executives into a collaborative powerhouse that is capable of solving wicked problems.
As a design professor at Centennial College, Laura advocates for participatory research and content-first design, while mentoring hundreds of aspiring product designers. Laura brings the same vibrant energy to hunting for thrift store treasures, dancing at music festivals, or exploring unfamiliar cities as she does to creating those magical “aha!” moments in both the boardroom and the classroom.
After hearing this question at an FITC conference, Laura now loves to ask, “If you were a fruit, which fruit would you be and why?”. Please avoid her at all costs if you do not wish to answer this question.
