Kevin Herrera is a Frontend Software Engineer based in Austin, Texas, working on the Marketing Engineering team at Cloudflare. His work focuses on front-end architecture, CMS integrations, and content modelling, with a passion for improving authorship workflows and translating Figma designs into scalable, performant web experiences.

Since graduating from General Assembly’s Web Development cohort in 2017 (shout out Web Dev 13), Kevin has built a strong reputation around tools like Contentful, Astro, and Tailwind. He recently led a complete corporate website redesign and is especially proud of finding that sweet spot where intuitive UX, beautiful design, and engineering efficiency meet. Now beginning his public speaking and blogging journey, Kevin is excited to contribute more to the developer community.

He’s particularly interested in the evolving relationship between AI and content management, and envisions a future where drafting, storing, and publishing content is seamlessly automated—reducing manual error and improving how both humans and machines interact with content online.

A friend once described Kevin as “a side quest kinda guy.” He’s always diving into something new, whether it’s dance, percussion, yoga, tech meetups, running, or biking.
