Justin Maguire, Executive Creative Director at frog. Based in frog’s Munich studio, he provides design leadership across projects and directs Munich’s multidisciplinary creative team to deliver world-class user experiences for software-, Web- and hardware-convergent products.
Prior to joining the Munich studio, Justin was part of the formative team which built the frog Seattle studio starting in 2007. Before joining frog design in 2007, Justin spent 10.5 years at Microsoft Corporation developing convergent user experiences for some of the most widely used products and platforms in the world. He worked on the user experience for the suite of applications for Office 1997, Office 2000 and Office XP. He was the design lead for the Windows Mobile platform, bringing the first three generations of phone-enabled Windows Mobile devices to market. In 2003, Justin joined the Hardware Innovation Group identifying and pitching new market and customer experience opportunities for Microsoft and its partners. In 2005, Justin came to the Unified Communications Group to lead the design of the new Unified Communications suite of products. As the lead of the largest investment by Microsoft since Xbox, Justin managed a multidisciplinary global team responsible for the user experience of all products in the Unified Communications suite. He is a passionate believer in the power of great design to elevate the human condition. At frog Justin leads large scale software and user experience programs for leading international companies such as Siemens, DHL, AT&T and Vodafone.
