Justin is an artist, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Working Not Working, a curated, global community connecting the world’s best creative talent with the most innovative companies. Apple, Google, Droga5, Wieden+Kennedy, The New York Times, Nike, and thousands of other companies are now using Working Not Working to staff their creative teams with freelance and full-time talent.
Before Working Not Working, Justin was an award-winning art director and creative director at ad agencies around the United States. Perhaps best known for helping create the original ElfYourself.com and unexpectedly unleashing the world’s elf fetish, with over 1.5 billion elves created since its inception in 2006. He has also gained notoriety for his various art projects, including NYC Garbage, Wants for Sale, and Needs for Sale.
Justin’s mission is to help creatives feel less alone. To further that, he runs a monthly creative support group, Talking Not Talking, with chapters in NYC, LA, and SF. He is also the host of the podcast, Overshare, where he interviews creatives about the struggles of being a creative professional. Justin currently resides in Brooklyn, NY, with his pet ping pong table.
