Joel Wan is a senior developer at Critical Mass, where he has worked on front-end interfaces for clients such as Nissan, Rolex, Budweiser.
Joel graduated from the University of Alberta with a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, worked at a few start-ups before joining Critical Mass in 2008. His interests lie in open web technologies, implementing and finding new uses for obscure algorithms including OCR, graphing, stemming and AI algorithms. He maintains a few successful open source projects including a PHP ORM code generator.
