Elena is an interdisciplinary designer with a reverence for the ambiguity of human encounter. She discovered her desire to understand the complexities of relationships during her masters in Interdisciplinary Design at NSCAD University, where she explored the relationship between children and their understanding of death.
As the creative lead at Current Studios, Elena navigates the uncharted territories of experience on a daily basis, turning questions into creations through inspired guesswork. Immersed in the realm of creative technology, Elena has worked on experiential solutions for brands like Acura, Intel, Puma and Samsung. After years of attempting to understanding the human psyche through design, she is still kept awake at night wondering why people roll up their winter hats to not cover their ears.
