Devon Persing is an accessibility specialist on the UX Operations team at Shopify, where she builds programming to improve training, tooling, and research around digital accessibility. She also teaches workshops for UX practitioners and certificate students at the School of Visual Concepts in Seattle, Washington. Devon has a 2004 MS in Information from the University of Michigan, and has been doing a mix of instructional design, systems analysis, and UX work in libraries, non-profits, consulting agencies, and product companies ever since.
In real life, Devon does fiber arts like knitting, grows really good garden peas, and tells stories with her friends by playing Dungeons & Dragons.
