Overview
We’re at a web conference, so we probably all agree that they are a good idea — hello, confirmation bias. But does everyone else out there think so? Are business owners, particularly of businesses where the website would only be tangential and informational to the business itself, starting to think differently about them? It feels like the web is constantly under some sort of threat. Most recently, AI/LLMs are being trusted to provide information and often prioritized above website search results. A search engine results page might offer loads of information before even the most directly relevant website. Can you blame a business owner for trying to adapt to that new reality?
