Flash Media Server can do far more than you may be aware. Beyond streaming, it can do any number of live interactive real time functionalities. In this session we will go over ways to use FMS to create scalable multi player games with less than 20 lines of server code. We will also review case studies and code to understand how to build your game for FMS from the beginning. Topics will range from Shared Objects, how to avoid latency, what to send to the server, and what should the client handle. This session is for anyone that has wanted to get into multi player gaming but has been too busy to learn the server side of things.
