Overview
Flash and After Effects have an odd relationship. They do a lot of the same things, but they’re usually used for entirely different purposes. This session will show examples of ways to use Flash and After Effects together in your web-based motion graphics or animation projects.
We’ll cover the strengths and weaknesses of each program and take a look ways to move assets between them, including the XF4 file format. Some tips on how to transfer your skills to After Effects will also be covered.
This session is aimed at Flash folks looking to do more with After Effects. Attendees will leave with a tips and examples of how to use the two programs together.
