It’s great that we now have all of these new web tags available for us to structure our content, but exactly how do we do it? What is the purpose of the section tag? Do you really need that hgroup? Do I use an aside if it is only to hold my nav? Can I ditch my Adobe Flash for a video yet? Let’s take a look at the updated HTML5 spec. See what’s new, see what they are intended for, and hopefully be able to walk away with a more consistent page structure and context relevant forms.
