Overview
Google has refocused their efforts on creating a unique and unified experience on Android as part of the Ice Cream Sandwich release. This talk will go over how to put the new Android design principles into practice, along with how to design and develop for Holo. Given the fragmented Android market, we will also go over some of the additional conventions, libraries, and tricks on Android that are created by the community to serve the fragmented user base. As part of building great apps for Android, there will be a discussion on how to bring great iOS apps over to Android so that it turns into a great Android app.
