Overview

Tired of using JQuery animations? Want to learn something new and refreshing? If so, this presentation is for you. You might have heard of GreenSock if you have ever created Flash games or websites, and if you have used it, you know it was an awesome tweening engine. As a matter of fact,  it was so good that GreenSock has taken most of the library and ported it over to JavaScript. Yes, JavaScript! So now you can animate all of your element’s CSS properties in one line of code and you can even use JQuery’s selectors to select them.

This session will demonstrate how to incorporate the GreenSock Animation library into your site and use it to animate elements of your site.

Note that this half day workshop is offered on the workshop day on Fri Nov 8 and therefore is only available to those who have ‘The Works’ or the ‘Workshop Day’ ticket.
