Overview

An informational session exploring intermediate to advanced topics in openFrameworks targeted at developers and designers within the field of digital & interactive media. This presentation will include an overview of openFrameworks’ history, design, community, and development, as well as contextualize its use and limitations within the field of digital media. Advanced features and extensions will be discussed through highlighting select projects developed by the openFrameworks community, including technical and conceptual considerations. A series of how-to coding examples will be presented in relation to the most popular technologies that OF has to offer. Previous experience with openFrameworks or similar interactive media platforms is recommended.
