文化庁メディア芸術祭は、アート、エンターテインメント、アニメーション、マンガの4部門において優れた作品を顕彰するとともに、受賞作品の鑑賞機会を提供するメディア芸術の総合フェスティバルです。受賞作品展は2月3日(水)から2月14日(日)まで、東京・六本木の国立新美術館を中心に開催します。

The Japan Media Arts Festival is a comprehensive festival of Media Arts (=Media Geijutsu) that honors outstanding works in the four divisions of Art, Entertainment,Animation, and Manga, as well as providing a platform for appreciation of the works that have won awards. The Exhibition of Award-winning Works will be held from Wednesday, February 3 to Sunday, February 14 at the National Art Center, Tokyo and other venues.

日本を代表するクリエイティブカンパニー「バスキュール」と「PARTY」の２社は共同で、2014年3月にクリエイティブスクール「Both Art and Programming Academy」（略称、BAPA）を開校します。http://bapa.ac/ 当スクールは、デザインとプログラミングスキルを併せもった次世代クリエイターの育成を目的に、両社に在籍するクリエイター陣や世界で活躍するクリエイターらを講師陣として迎えるもので、理論と実践を組み合わせた多彩なプログラムになる予定です。

Bascule Inc. and PARTY Inc., two leading creative companies in Japan will jointly open a creative school called “Both Art and Programming Academy” (BAPA) in March 2014. http://bapa.ac/ The school is aimed at developing and fostering next-generation creators with both design and programming skills.
