During FITC Amsterdam, Julie Campagna from the Adobe Edge newsletter spent some time talking to Flash designers and developers about the effect the economy has had on them. Fortunately the overwhelming response was that things are alright. Some people have seen a bit of a slow down, but others are on track or doing even better.
