Melody Adhami is the Co-founder, President and COO of Plastic Mobile, an award-winning mobile marketing agency. She has been rightfully dubbed the “Queen of Apps,” by the Globe and Mail in acknowledgment of her intrepid determination to advance the mobile space into the future with style, poise and perfection.

When she’s not on a podium or camera waxing poetic about the endless possibilities of the evolving device in your pocket, she is establishing innovative strategies and forging strong relationships with recognized clients such as AIR MILES, Pizza Pizza, CBC and Rogers, among others.

She’s driven Plastic Mobile to develop many first-in-class projects, including presenting the first ever video streaming iPad app, as well as Canada’s first, award-winning pizza ordering application.

Melody’s determination to innovate and be exceptional helped Plastic Mobile to win the 2011
Webby award (the Oscar’s of the Internet) for mobile shopping, which now sits alongside Plastic’s various other accolades for innovation and excellence in the mobile space.

Prior to launching Plastic Mobile, Melody earned her stripes working with such high-profile companies as Bayer, Novartis and Unilever. She graduated in 2006 with an MBA from DeGroote School of Business, majoring in Strategic Marketing. In a remarkable act of foreshadowing, Melody was voted “most likely to be a successful entrepreneur” in her class.
