FITC's Web Unleashed is hitting Toronto for the first time, and we're gathering up super skilled front-end developers to teach us a thing or two about the space.
Speakers from AngularJS, Ionic, jQuery, Mozilla, reddit and so many more will be covering everything from JavaScript to gaming, from libraries to frameworks, from UX to processes.
As our ongoing initiative to support women in technology and make the digital forefront accessible, FITC is giving away a limited number of free tickets to Web Unleashed September 17th and 18th to women who submit a one page website that contains the following criteria:
Make a web page telling us WHY you want to go to Web Unleashed!
- Coded and designed by you using the latest web technologies
- Page must clearly state WHY you want to go to FITC's Web Unleashed
Get creative ladies! We're looking for original, inspiring and totally cool work in order to be selected. Make a simple static page, or dive into some libraries and show off your skills!
Are you a developer but not a designer? A designer that doesn’t code? Pair up with a colleague and submit your collaborative work for a chance for both of you to win a ticket!
Submit your work by August 17 here. A small panel of judges will review the submissions and winners will be notified via email by August 27.
