As an Art Director, Animator and Designer at Imaginary Forces, Sean Koriakin contributed his talent to a range of creative projects including broadcast, commercials, films and environment design. A graduate of Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Film, Animation & Video, Koriakin flexed his creative muscles working on independent features and shorts. In 2002, he joined Imaginary Forces, an award-winning entertainment and design studio with locations in Los Angeles and New York. Sean left Imaginary Forces in 2008 to start his own design/animation company.

Koriakin most recently served as Animator on the main titles for the Jim Carrey thriller “The Number 23,” and as Art Director on the dynamic title reveal in the “Transformers” teaser trailer. For the latter, he spearheaded the design and animation for the titles, which employed advanced kinematics and realistic engineering similar to the Transformers characters themselves in the Michael Bay-directed feature. In the role of Art Director, Koriakin also led a visually compelling spot for the Pontiac Torrent, the teaser for Chronicles of Narnia, as well as the title sequence for Cartoon Network’s “Justice League Unlimited.”

As an Animator/Designer, Koriakin has worked on numerous high-profile projects, most notably The Legend of Zorro main titles, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy trailer, Lexus IS holographic environmental design display, which appeared in Times Square and other worldwide locations, Niketown in-store animated promos for the Nike Speed Vapor shoe, AMC and Animal Planet branding packages, as well as Marshall Field’s, Mitsubishi, Kia and Sun Microsystems commercials.

His work for the Animal Planet campaign has been featured in various publications including Adweek and Creativity, and The Legend of Zorro titles was highlighted in Markee Magazine. “Transformers” was featured in Studio Monthly Magazine, Dzine.tv, as well as VFX World.
