If you’re solving the wrong problem, your design has failed.

Rick is a designer. He designs interfaces, products and most importantly, experiences. But good design doesn’t come from having a good designer – you need the entire organization to be focused on the user.

Rick’s career has largely been about helping transform organizations to put the user first. He does this by:

  1. Building programs that drive user and customer insights into all levels and phases of the product planning and development process
  2. Educating teams on design, specifically how Design Thinking can help any team solve any problem
  3. Building design teams that can deliver outstanding user experiences based on the user insights.

Outside of work, he’s very active in the Jewish community, currently serving on boards and executives of various Jewish community organizations.
