Maryanne was part of a watershed moment for the publishing world when Google Cardboard partnered with the New York Times on the first and largest distribution of Cardboards to the masses last year. She helped create the VR film, The Nature of Industry, with GE as part of the #nytvr campaign, which won the Grand Prix in Mobile at 2016’s Cannes International Festival of Creativity. In 2016, Maryanne was named one of Adweek’s “Creative 100” and specifically within the top 20 Content Creators. She will also serve on the 2017 Andy Awards jury. Maryanne started her career at Australian visual effects house Animal Logic 20 years ago, where she worked her way up from design assistant to senior visual effects compositor and supervisor. Butler joined Framestore London in 2002 before making the move to New York in 2004.
