Interactive art directors Anita Fontaine and Geoff Lillemon make up the whimsical designer collective Champagne Valentine. They specialize in expanding the interactive, new media and motion terrain by combing facets from the advertising and art worlds. Some highlights from their client portfolio include creating online worlds, games and animation for clients like Comedy Central, Diesel, Nickelodeon, T-mobile, Scion XB, and (RED). They also exhibit extensively and internationally as new media/ fine artists. Exhibitions include a solo show by Geoff Lillemon for his work with oculart.com at the Museo Tamayo in Mexico City. Meanwhile Anita was recently shortlisted in the National New Media Awards for her game modification CuteXdoom II, which is currently installed at the Gallery of Modern art in Australia and the Maxalot gallery in Amsterdam. Their new exhibition My Lover the Server, which explores the phenomenon of internet romance will open in Amsterdam in April. When not in their creepy 18 Century studio attics you can locate them in the Modernista! office, overlooking lovely Amsterdam, where they work in “Advertising”.
