Carsten Goertz is the Creative Director of Random Studio, where he leads a team of visual artists, creative technologists and communication experts. Partnering with the likes of Hermès, Nike or Raf Simons, they create digital experiences with an experimental signature.
Prior to Random, Carsten worked at Apple on the next generation of Apple Stores, creating interactive window displays and scenography for special events. High profile studios like Bruce Mau Design and Meiré und Meiré employed him as creative director for digital communications and architectural design, to work on shows for MINI and the re-branding of Kenzo.
As an installation artist and performer he regularly joins exhibitions and noise festivals internationally. He frequently speaks at design schools and conferences and is a member of the Design Displacement Group, Amsterdam.
