Overview

We continue to gain incredible new opportunities for game development and gamification, but the reality is we still face increasing challenges with multiplatform development and adoption in an ever-widening “screens” market.  In this session, Tracy Erickson of Unity will deliver first-hand insight into development with Unity, including cutting-edge features of Unity 4, and a focus specifically on how to create and deliver content that interacts across desktop, web, tablet, and mobile devices. Concentrating on games and other interactive content, he will lead an in-depth discussion on the best practices and strategies to approach multiplatform development and its importance in an increasingly fragmented marketplace.  He will explore the key decisions that need to be made before development even starts and how to gain maximum exposure for any given platform.  To fuel inspiration, Tracy will also showcase individual examples of Unity-authored titles with gameplay that spans multiple devices, such as mobile-to-web, mobile-to-PC/Mac, mobile-to-mobile, as well as share thoughts on what we all need to do now in order to achieve the next-generation of successful cross-platform design, development, and user experience.
