Overview
Guided by a couple of Fluid’s projects i want to talk and discuss the subject of content creation vs tools. One of those projects is Spectra. A news visualization tool that gives consumers an alternate way to navigate msnbc.com in a three dimensional real-time interactive viewing state. Spectra offers user customization and dynamic browsing. SpectraÂ’s alluring design displays news headlines, fueled by RSS feeds, as colorful, graphic whirlwinds of movement. Spectra is an exciting step for Fluid’s ongoing mission to bring functional tools and a dynamic user experience together.
This presentation which intention is to be more of a discussion about the matter brings you the behind the screens of my personal way of working on dynamic media design and how my work has moved more towards tools rather then websites. How sketches, errors, personal-, client- and user needs brought me where i am today.
