Presentation

Overview

Nick denBoer will walk the audience through the workflow he uses for creating his wild characters, and dives into how he brings them to life using motion capture and other animation techniques.

This talk will also touch on building realistic 3D environments and props, and how he puts a scene together. Nick will also share some techniques for using physics simulations to add a layer of humour in character animation.

Although this presentation will be somewhat technical, Nick will also talk more conceptually about his creative process the way he comes to make what people often describe as crazy and absurd animations.

Nick’s videos are always entertaining and humorous, and his approach is meant to inspire on both the technical and conceptual sides of character-driven content creation so everyone is welcome.
