Overview
Flash is a great platform for building authoring tools that let kids and adults communicate with sound, visuals and text. It’s a good thing for self-expression and ultimately it’s a good thing for our clients who want to build a relationship with their audience.
Over the years zinc Roe has been putting these ideas into practice through a number of commercial and educational projects from an online graffiti wall to a snowboard designer and now an animation authoring tool. Using our animation tool we are launching a project which invites kids to create endings for short animated stories and share them with each other and a national broadcast audience. But what is involved in making such projects successful? This talk will share some of the lessons learned as these projects have evolved.
