Overview

Windows 8 and the Windows Store offer a new and large opportunity to developers, including the option to create Windows Store apps using skills you already have in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.  This session is a developer-focused introduction to the Windows 8 platform and ways to earn money in the Windows Store.  After an introduction to key Windows 8 features that your apps can leverage, we’ll review how to get your apps into the Windows Store, then introduce the key concepts behind using HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 to develop Windows Store apps and games.
