Note that this is a pre-conference workshop (Sept 12), and therefore is only available to those who have ‘the works’ tickets, or the ‘pre-conference workshop’ tickets
Interested in developing on Android? This workshop will start with setting up the development tools and will then explore how to build an Android application and finish with a demonstration of how to release the application onto the app market. The sample application we will build demonstrates the basics of building a UI, handling multiple screens, incorporating location based services, integrating with web-services and communicating with other devices.
