Presentation

Overview

As creative coders, at our disposal is an incredible set of toolkits – openFrameworks, Processing, Pure Data, VVVV and ExtendScript/SwitchBoard/PatchPanel – each with it’s own set of strengths and weaknesses. What happens when we connect the dots between these toolkits? Can we extend what is creatively possible? Can we connect the dots between any of these toolkits and existing applications like Photoshop, Illustrator and Maya?

These are some of the questions that glue69 – a group formed based on a discussion between Golan Levin, Sebastian Oschatz, Dr. Woohoo++ at the Art and Code symposium – are trying to answer. During this presentation, Woohoo will walk you through some of the possibilities and lead you to a place where some of the answers and tutorials are so that you can integrate multiple toolkits and existing creative apps into your box of creative tools.
