Be prepared to get UNLEASHED by diving in and writing Sencha Touch applications to deploy on the web or native immediately! During this half-day workshop Christopher Rhodes will focus on using Sencha Touch to build an app connected to a RESTful NodeJS service. He will start from the beginning with bootstrapping a Sencha Touch application, creating the user-interface (UI), connecting to the REST service and testing. Once a working app exists, the next step is adding native functionality using PhoneGap/Cordova plugins. Attendees will leave this workshop with the knowledge of how to be dangerous with Sencha Touch.
