Protistae. One-celled organisms. Perhaps the simplest living things on our planet. Created from limited set of parts, and drawing from a limited set of behaviours, protists move, feed, and reproduce with startling variety. Interacting, they form fascinating and complex ecologies.
Complexity, born from simplicity — an excellent model for building systems in Flash. In this session, Jeremy will show how simple script and visual elements can be combined to create responsive, adaptable, and visually captivating organic systems. These techniques have a variety of applications and perhaps most interestingly, create a bridge between science and art.
