Overview

This session will present the fundamentals of 3D graphics, giving attendees an understanding of the process required to turn a 3D scene into a 2D image. In a whirlwind tour suitable even for beginners, concepts such as the construction of 3D models, transformations in 3D space (scale, rotate, translate), perspective projection, texture mapping and lighting will be covered.
