The SXSW Interactive Awards uncovers the best new digital work, from websites to web applications and beyond, while celebrating those who are building tomorrow's online trends. Awards will be given in the categories of Activism, Amusement, Art, Business, Classic, Community, Educational Resource, Experimental, Film/TV, Games, Kiosk/Installation, Mobile, Motion Graphics, Music, Personal, Social Media, Student, Technical Achievement. There will also be a People's Choice award and a Best of Show award.
Founded in 1997, this competition was initially known as the SXSW Web Awards.
