Presentation

Overview

This presentation will take a look at the processes, benefits and challenges of creating commercial and personal work in the context of a small motion design studio.

We will look at how smaller in-house experiments can lead to bigger commercial ideas, and I will go through some of iamstatic’s latest projects to illustrate how we approach a job from inspiration, to sketch, to storyboard and the final edit.

We will look at a number of motion pieces, broadcast spots and music videos and how each project is important in the evolution of our studio practice.

Who this presentation is for:

For people interested in motion, who are curious of how a small studio’s process and approach evolves from project to project.

What Attendees Will Walk Away With

The audience will walk away with examples of how one idea can evolve into another and how even mundane experiences can inform larger goals.
