Overview

The HTML5/CSS/JavaScript stack is becoming an increasingly popular choice for development of mobile applications. Using libraries like Cordova (aka PhoneGap) developers are not only able to create apps that run on mobile, but that also interact with the mobile hardware, such as the camera, the contacts list and the accelerometer.

In this dynamic session, participants are invited to code along with the instructor as he develops several mobile apps that use JavaScript to interact with the device hardware.  Participants will leave with code that is immediately useful and can be applied to many types of mobile applications.

Note that this half day workshop is offered on the workshop day on Fri Nov 8 and therefore is only available to those who have ‘The Works’ or the ‘Workshop Day’ ticket.
