Overview

This presentation is for anyone interested in knowing how to use Adobe Flash to create cutting-edge interfaces in console games. It will feature hands-on demonstrations of how Flash can be used, along with the Scaleform game middleware, to create a variety of exciting interfaces that have never been possible before. In addition, this presentation shows users how the 2D game pipeline is maximized with Flash and the Adobe Creative Suite. Demonstrations by Grant Skinner will show how the custom Scaleform Flash components can be used to rapidly create game interfaces, and how components are built and integrated into a game development pipeline.

Finally, an overview of how Flash is used in game development and some coniderations for working with game developers will be addressed to help people understand and be able to take advantage of the rich opportunities in the game industry for Flash developers.
