Musketon quit school to become the self-employed creative he always wanted to be. Today, a few years later he is that creative, but if he knew then what he knows now he would have done a few things differently. Working for major brands like Coca-Cola, Mazda, MTV… is fun, but all that work (and happiness connected to that work) is perishable. That’s why he started focusing more on personal projects. Projects that he wanted to work on day and night. Projects that were 100% his own creation. Projects that made him happy.
Over the last 6 months Musketon dedicated all his time to his first ever Kickstarter campaign. The campaign got 305% funded. Pretty awesome.
I will tell my story on how working on personal projects made me a better and happier artist.
